"As
an overweight teenager though my 20's, I have struggled to find ways to
lose and maintain a "goal weight". At my heaviest I weighed close to
180 lbs and wore a size 15-16. I managed to accomplish some weight loss
on my own; but skipping meals and routinely moving from one machine to
another at the gym was not enough to keep me interested or challenged
and I never stuck to a plan. I needed someone to make me accountable for
my decision of a healthier me.
Eating with a purpose
True healthy eating involves eating with a purpose. What are you eating and why? The foods that you select should be carefully selected and should possess the nutrients needed to over come some health issues and promote overall good health.
